The Password to Success

Ensign (March 2009, p52) President Ezra Taft Benson (1899-1994) said: "The world would take people out of the slumps. Christ takes the slums out of people, and then they take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature." William George Jordan put it this way, "The world is busy with its own cares, sorrows and joys, and pays little heed to you. There is but one great password to success, --SELF RELIANCE." Learning to work and teaching our children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, even neighborhood children the great value of work is preparing for the future. Being prepared is PROVIDENT LIVING.
